So since Im all over the place with my projects ~ Im gonna start another one, well finish one I started a year or so ago. I have a big stack of picture frames and no pictures to go in them and most I have already got painted and ready to be hung. So my start to my project was to go through allllll the pictures on my computer and my moms and pic out some to print...go to the store and print some, accomplished yesterday.. and yeah i printed alot, Some are from when dameian was born and i never got around to getting anything printed. I do think now i need to go purchase some 5*7 and 4*6 mattes for the frames cause most are 8*10 and i think i only printed 6 of those cause they are sorta expensive, and i wanna try and find some collage frames for all the small pics i printed. And maybe just maybe tonight Ill dig the frames out of the garage, storage shed, and craft room and get some hung up since our halls and stair way are kinda bare. Hopefully if all goes oh so wonderfully well I'll even get my very own camera in the near furture so I can take pics of the kids all the time not just at family things where I borrow Mark and Robyn's cameras or my moms.
Im thinking maybe paint this weekend in Elli's room, was gonna start with the green last Sunday but it was cold and rainy so we just laid around all day and watched TV and opened Easter eggs ~ didnt even bother hiding them, plus me and Jeff had homework to do that day too so it was better not to start cause I wouldnt be able to stop till it was done and would have taken awhile. Next week is finals so Ill need a break from studying and painting can be my outlet :) so maybe if i get the pictures in the frames and the frames hung tonight ill paint some on saturday.
i need to work on shoveling the big pile of mud in the yard into my garden so i can get it all ready to plant some plants before its too too late, maybe by the time im finished everywhere will have veggie plants on clearance ~ lol and i got some strawberry plants that need to get planted... so much to do so much to do.

Dameians CHOO CHOO 2nd Birthday!
Dameian picked a train birthday party and after 3 wal marts and a target we found the plates he wanted, the wrapping paper and gift bags mommy wanted, awesome candles and lots of balloons!
Present shopping took more effort than that, shopping for a boy that doesn't say much is alot more difficult than shopping for Elli who tells you what she wants.
Trains, toy cars, airplanes, a bubble machine, and a fun tool set made his day.
Today is my sweet little Dameian's 2nd Birthday! two years and three hours ago he was born- its hard to believe it's been that long already. |
My lil minis look so BIG! |

Everyone thought the train cake was delicious too! Luckly we had leftovers to eat for breakfast this week :) |
Mom and Elli had fun decorating all the train cars. |
The weather cooperated nicely to allow for some fun bubble time and popsicles outside! |

New Project
So my new project is my little artists room, hopefully she likes my work and leaves it alone. First attempt to buy green viridescent and smooth southern sea blue paint was a failure , so instead i took everything off her walls and washed them and patched holes. second attempt to buy paint was a half failure so i have a can of blue and a can of country white. So tonight while Jeffrey is off test taking at school me and the kids will sand down the patches and apply a country white base coat ~ hopefully hiding her art work. My goal is to have this done by Saturday but Im not sure Im that quick, espicially since Wal Mart is not cooperating with my paint buying attempts.
this dresser may get a paint job too.. this summer.. when im not so busy and can bust out the new sander i bought a few weeks ago.
Havent decided how to paint the shelves. desk yet? Im gonna paint the rest of the room, leave this white and see where to go from there.
i may even get really crafty and creative and recover her chairs since she has covered them in chocolate syrup and the diaper rash cream... which does not wash out and wonderfully holds the chocolate stains in.
So wish me luck at the BA wal mart in my third attempt to buy paint, maybe this time i'll come home with a gallon of green :)

First wall done :)
So i started with a very tiny plain bathroom...Created my own version on tan..it looks pinkish in this picture but it's not that bad. just horrible lighting. were gonna go light fixture globe shopping some time, the ones in it now are this weird yellow orange color so it makes the bathroom very dark and orangey.
Added two different sizes of masking tape.
This took alot more time than i thought it would but I got it done and painted in one evening
The wall was pretty torn up from the three layers of wall paper and two layers of paint we had to remove, so I used three different shades of blue and kinda swirled them on instead of just painting so it has a more textured look - this covers up the dents dings pretty good. Now i gotta decided if im gonna leave the other walls tan or not - I may to the opposite wall like this also since it has less surface cause of the sink and towel rack on it, plus the door covers most of it when its open so I dont think it will be too overwhelming... i hope - But that will be for another time cause my fingers are all taped out. Maybe this weekend when its too cold to work on the garden Ill hide in the bathroom.

First blog :)
Okay so since I read a few people's blogs I decided to make my own. And I'm gonna start it on a Tuesday and I hate Tuesdays so it should be very uninteresting. Got some pics up so maybe ill log in here often just so I can see my kids happy faces :)
i'm working on loading some pictures of my current project.. painting the down stairs bathroom, hoping to add the second color of paint tonight and pull tape off tomorrow and be done- but we'll see, the kids get a little crazy when i pull out paint.. or crayons..markers..chalk..colored pencils.. anything that they can add their own touches to the walls with. So this project I got from Katie Martin.. read her blog saw her living room wall and thought WOW thats so cool but i really dont want to do that in my living room the walls are tooo big! and already painted. so our daily trip to wal mart i saw a cute bathroom rug on clearance and i needed a new rug for the down stairs bathroom and i have bee lazy about finishing painting it. so i bought the rug for $3.00 and matching hand towels for $5. and on the drive home i thought about Katie's wall and how it matched my new rug! yay so i showed Jeff and pic and he said up to you :D So then I start thinkin... I have left over white paint from the play room.. brown paint from Dameians pirate ship.. and a couple different shades of blue... I needed tan and dark blue..So i mixed up the brown and white and made tan :) Im gettin off pretty cheap on decorating this bathroom.. this is good cause its really tiny and Im not sure if im gonna like it or not.. but if i do i may extend the design to the laundry room but maybe with a little more color. So ill get to that later this evening while Jeff's at school hopefully Diego can keep the kids occupied for the evening :)
